Basic Job Description
1) Analyzing computer hardware problems, rectifying them, servicing and replacing parts when necessary.
2) Installing software, demonstrating its usage and troubleshooting when users are faced with problems.
3) Updating system software when required.
4) Setting up and solving problems with computer network systems, cabling and wireless networks.
5) Configuring email accounts through POP3, IMAP, Outlook and MS Exchange.
6) Anti-virus software installation, reporting new virus files and malware removal.
7) Maintaining back up files.
8) Setting up equipment for web conferences and other events that use computers and their peripherals.
Other Key Responsibilities
Administer, manage, and troubleshoot:
Microsoft SharePoint
Active Directory (AD), Entra ID (Azure AD) & Entra Hybrid ID
Group Policy Objects (GPOs) via AD and/or Microsoft Intune
Exchange Offline email archiving and retention policies
Configure and support:
Server Certificates
Windows Server VPNs with Multi-Factor Authentication
Port forwarding/NAT policies on firewalls
Microsoft Windows Autopilot (Not necessary but will be an asset)
Independently manage projects from start to finish:
PBX installations
CCTV installations
Network Installations
Access Point Installations
Alarm Installations
E-mail domain migrations
Secure Onboarding and Offboarding of systems
Maintain clear, detailed documentation for all implementations and procedures
Create & Maintain PCI DSS and GDPR compliance standards in systems and documentation (Not necessary but will be an asset)
Responding to client requests
Requirements
1) 5 O level passes.
2) A + Certification.
3) Network + Certification.
4) Any additional certification would be beneficial.
5) Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar L2 technician or system administration role
6) Proven experience working in an MSP or multi-tenant IT environment
7) Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Azure AD
8) Experience configuring and maintaining VPNs, firewall rules, and endpoint security solutions
9) Spearheaded site surveys to implement PBX, CCTV, Alarm and/or Network infrastructure
10) Strong customer-facing and communication skills
11) Ability to work independently and handle simultaneous projects
12) Must Own a Working Vehicle
